Experimental Evaluation ORE'13

We present more information about the experiments performed for our contribution to the OWL Reasoner Evaluation Workshop 2013 (ORE 2013). The results were obtained for four reasoners running on Android (CB, JFact, Pellet, HermiT) tested with five well-known ontologies: Pizza and Wine, which are two expressive ontologies; DBpedia 3.8 (T-BOX), which can be useful for mobile apps developers to access the structured content of DBpedia (a semantic entry point to Wikipedia); and the Gene Ontology (GO) and the US National Cancer Institute (NCI), which contain a high number of concepts.

Ontologies

Galaxy Tab, Android 2.3.3

Results for the reasoners running on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 with Android 2.3.3

Note: Reasoner(C) represents the time needed for the creation of the reasoner, Reasoner(CL) represents the time needed for the classification task.
-777 represents an Unsupported Data Type error, -999 represents an Out Of Memory error

Google Nexus, Android 4.2.1

Results for the reasoners running on a Google Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.2.1

Note: Reasoner(C) represents the time needed for the creation of the reasoner, Reasoner(CL) represents the time needed for the classification task.
-777 represents an Unsupported Data Type error, -999 represents an Out Of Memory error

PC

Results for the reasoners running on a Windows 64-bits, i5-2320, 3.00GHz, 16GB RAM

Note: Reasoner(C) represents the time needed for the creation of the reasoner, Reasoner(CL) represents the time needed for the classification task.
-777 represents an Unsupported Data Type error
